One of the US's leading healthcare performance improvement companies needed to validate clinical data submitted by member hospitals for JCAHO — a massive manual process consuming enormous time and resources that the business wanted to automate.

Solution

A roadmap was drawn for a data quality and governance system. We created reports and message files based on the rules and specifications dictated by governing bodies, then steered the committee toward implementation.

Results

Built a data warehouse ingesting CSV, XML, and HL7 files from member hospitals. Daily data refresh allowed hospitals to fill missing data. Power BI dashboards enabled actionable clinical insights and timely Joint Commission submissions.

FinTech Industry

Challenge

An existing reporting system lacked the depth needed for business insights. This gap created a 10% loss on financing from non-recoverable loans. The target was to reverse this into 10% growth within the next year.

Solution

Identified a data warehouse and web-based product architecture. Revamped the loan processing platform with multiple integrations, migrated to Redshift, built risk modeling and reporting. Delivered using Agile with KPI-based MVPs and monthly releases.

Results

ETL pipelines moved data from MongoDB to Redshift using Matillion and Airflow. Cleansed data powered a risk model for fine-tuned decision approvals. DOMO reports enabled operations monitoring. Revenue grew by 15%.
